Facebook. (n) The perfected Social Network place where you go when you want to compare your life to others. There you will find your self subconsciously competing with, and judging those from your past, present and future.
Instagram. (n) A mobile app used to build social status and popularity by sharing ‘staged’ images of ones meals, outfits, and daily ventures. Was once an app only accessible through Apple products.
Twitter. (n) The creator of the “team ______” epidemic. A time line of consistent status updates. Mainly used to share witty comments and users’ irrelevant opinons of sports, music, and television.

I told my friend he looked skinny this morning! That made his day, so in return he gave me a handful of weed…. :) ! Who would’ve thought that giving a compliment would make us both feel good!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. No wonder Instagram just sold to facebook for a billion dollars. I absolutely love instagram. I love taking pictures, sharing pictures, saving pictures. Because they do tell stories and they do hold memories. What I’m beginning to dislike however is the lack of personality that everyone is settling for. All these fly ass pictures! Everyone wants to show off their “lifestyle.”
Everybody wants the red bottoms, the nice cars, go on vacation, a bitch wit a fat ass! Because that’s clearly what the cool people have and do.
I can’t even lie I second guess my every move when it comes to pictures. I don’t want to be typical, yet I don’t want to be lame either ! I’m not trying to be thirsty but shiit- everybody wants some likes. Ha! Point is, the schemes aren’t secret. The gimmicks are fresh, I’ma still hit the like button and shit.
But don’t lose sight of you by trying to be something else.
Don’t forget, people are watching….

Writing Challenge
I write words. Not in the form of lyrics or rhymes, but the form in which my heart creates them. I can scroll through my phone, my drafted posts, and random blank pieces of paper that I hide in my backpack but for some reason I find that my words just don’t do it justice. There’s a specific tone to my writing, a certain voice that unless you know me- you may not be reading this properly. But when all else fails I turn to the music. And I’ll express my thoughts through lyrics. That’s the easy way out. Although a song may be able to explain what I’m thinking, they really aren’t MY words and feelings. I respect all producers, songwriters, and engineers without you there would be nothing. But, I envy the artist. I wish I had the guts to show face. To perform these well put together fragments full of feeling, and meaning. I’m scared just thinking about it. Even if the thoughts aren’t genuine.
Today I decided I’m going try to write a song. I’m going to do it all, from the ground up. I’m giving myself one month! Make a pattern out of the words in my head and dare I say it, share it on this blog. I’ll have to man up, see if I got the balls to really do it. Ughhhh. Wish me luck!

I clearly have been neglecting my blog. I was reading through my blog tonight, and found this. On March 7th, 2011 at 10:45pm I posted:
Day 5: Five places you want to visit.
1. Louisville, Kentucky. 2. Philippine Islands. 3. Fiji Islands. 4. African Safari. 5. Venice, Italy.
That’s crazy! I’m truly blessed with the life I live. I wouldn’t of guessed that 8 months later I’d be crossing off something on this list. I’ve seen and done so much more than I could’ve imagined by the age of 22. I can’t wait for more to come.
As of December 10th, 2011 African Safari can officially be CROSSED off my list!
